This article gives you information about the things you should expect when you complete your 10 days of self-isolation from when your coronavirus symptoms started.
If you had a cough; after 10 days you do not need to self-isolate if you just have a cough. A cough can last for several weeks once the infection has gone. If you continue to feel unwell, and you have not already sought medical advice, you should contact your GP or GP out-of-hours for advice. If your cough gets worse contact your GP or GP out-of-hours for advice.
If you had a temperature; if you still have a high temperature after 10 days, keep self-isolating until your temperature returns to normal. If you continue to feel unwell and have not already sought medical advice, you should contact your GP or GP out-of-hours for advice.
After any viral infection, the symptoms that you have could linger for a while. This may include being exhausted, muscle soreness or loss of taste / smell.
